The 2020 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards have finally been announced and it’s just what we needed to brighten up the year. The hilarious photos are hard to look at without smiling, but of the 7,000+ submissions from around the world, one had to be crowned the winner.
This year, that title of 2020 Comedy Wildlife Photography Award Winner went to “Terry the Turtle flipping the bird” by Mark Fitzpatrick! He captured the shot off the coast of Lady Elliot Island in Queensland, Australia.
“Absolutely stoked and honoured to have just been awarded the Comedy Wildlife Photographer of the Year for 2020…” Mark shared in an Instagram post. “When I took the photo of Terry the Turtle flipping me the bird at Lady Elliot Island I could never have imagined just how many people from all over the world would get such a kick out of it!” he continued.
